Kidz Bop Dance Party Coming This FallKidz Bop is the most popular music brand in the United States for kids and now they're taking the music to a video game. Exclusively for Wii, Kidz Bop Dance Party: The Video Game will have your kids dancing in no time. Created by D3Publisher, the game includes chart-topping music and lets your kids have the ultimate dance party in their own living room!

The game features 24 of the most popular Kidz Bop hits, such as "Paparazzi," "Thriller," and "Get the Party Started," sung by kids, for kids. Users can customize their own characters by mixing and matching outfits and accessories. The game features five different modes: free play, challenge, dance off, shop and dress-up. You can dance alone or as a team, or play in two-player challenge mode. You can even have a dance-off and compete with your friends for the top score. If you make a mistake, you're not penalized and you'll learned tips and tricks from real kids that will help you become the next big Kidz Bop star!

The game is schedule to hit stores on September 21.

Gather the family around the TV for some Disney karaoke fun! The new game Disney Sing It: Family Hits for PlayStation 3 and Wii is sure to bring your family together for hours of entertainment. The game features your favorite songs from 20 of your favorite Disney films. You'll even get singing tips from Anika Noni Rose from Disney's Princess and the Frog.

Songs for Disney Sing It: Family Hits will come from old classic films and new favorites. Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Mary Poppins, The Jungle Book, Toy Story, Cars, The Lion King, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, and The Princess and the Frog to name a few. The karaoke is easy to follow with full screen HD videos featuring montages and footage from various Disney movies.

The game features a pitch bar that will help players hit the right notes. You can sing a solo, or a duet, compete against your family and friends, or play the exciting Family Mode, which has you passing the microphone to up to eight different players. Sing It Encore Mode let's you play back your performance and add special effects and customize your songs.

Actress and singer Anika Noni Rose (she voiced Tiana in The Princess and the Frog) will help you by providing vocal exercises and techniques, basic voice instructions, game tutorials, and singing games that will help you become a better singer. The game is rated E for Everyone and is scheduled to be released this summer.

Green Day Rock Band Coming This Summer

The long-awaited Green Day: Rock Band has been assigned a release date: June 8, 2010. The stand-alone music video game is being made by the same people who made the popular and award-winning The Beatles: Rock Band, Harmonix. The standalone music video game will available for Wii, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3. It'll feature 47 tracks, a "rare look into the Green Day media vault" and more. Also, the tracks will be exportable into other Rock Band games.

To play, you'll become the members of Green Day and play through their history and story that began in Northern California. Unlock over 100 collectible images and 40 minutes of unreleased videos of interviews, outtakes, and performances. The game will include songs such as “Brain Stew,” “Jaded,” “Hitchin’ a Ride,” “American Idiot,” “Wake Me Up When September Ends” and “Boulevard of Broken Dreams.”

The game will cost you about $59.99 on Xbox and PS3, and $49.99 on the Wii. For an extra $10.00 you can buy the "plus" version of the game that comes with a special package and all 6 DLC Green Day tracks already released.

Band Hero Releases Pop Playlist
Band Hero doesn't come out until November 17, but that hasn't stopped gamers from taking to the internet to speculate about what kind of music the game will feature. It's been described as "Guitar Hero Goes Pop" and with a previous mention of Taylor Swift headlining the game, many were left wondering if it would be a little Teenybopperish.

Well, some news about the game was released this week and while the music is definitely more pop than Guitar Hero, it's not just stuff that appeals to fourteen year old girls. There's something for the 80's fans, the 90's fans, and some current music, as well. (See the entire playlist below.)

In addition to the list of songs featured in the game, it was made clear that the songs would be importable to Guitar Hero and vice versa for a small fee. Players will have the opportunty to create the band they've always wanted with any combination of guitar, drum and vocals.
